We are proud to be part of the Arkansas River community. Our company was born in true dirtbag style. We didn't want to get a "real" job, so we focused on our true passion for whitewater and the outdoors and created River Station. Turns out it is a "real job!" We work super hard day in and day out to make a company we are proud of. Offering multiple styles of throw bags, mesh bags, thwart bags, dry bags and other accessories. Every stitch in our whitewater gear is done on the rim of the Royal Gorge, it's literally our backyard. As we have grown, we have branched out into importing some unique gear as well, such as our dry thwart bags and some of our clothing. All of our importing is done responsibly and we fully support using only companies who have fair wages and green manufacturing certificates. Along with that we try to only import clothing from fully recycled materials. We want to provide our river friends near and far with high quality, safe, stylish outdoor gear. Our moto is to "stand out". So far we have innovated new systems for waist throw bags and completely innovated the dry bag world .Our whitewater rescue gear is colorful and unique to River Station Gear. We will continue to evolve and develop top of the line, safe, colorful whitewater rescue gear for many years to come. --- Thanks to everyone who has supported us and helped us get as far as we have. Co-Owner, Artist and Lead Sewer, Jodi loves all things outdoors, especially if they involve water, whether it's flowing, calm or frozen flakes. Favorite after boating snack would include strawberries and watermelon and possibly a margarita. Her sidekick, Motu, accompanies most of her adventures, amd makes them more fun, or at least more furry. Although raised in Maine, home has been in the Arkansas Valley, CO for nearly 10 years. Much of the art for River Station is created by Jodi, her main mediums are oil painting and film photography, but she also dabbbles in drawing, watercolor and block printing. Combining her love of outdoor adventure, art and gear junkie tendencies into River Station is an exciting way to bring the local and farther abroad boating communities a new take on quality and stylish gear.

River Station Founder, Co-Owner, Marketing and Digital Media. I love being outdoors, enjoying the earth, breathing colorado air and playing in whitewater. Elara (my dog) always at my side. I love a good evening gorge lap with my river friends. Proud Canon City, CO native. Born and raised. Can't believe how lucky I am to live here surrounded by such stunning landscapes and such beautiful people. I've worked, photographed and played in the gorge for a decade now. It simply doesn't ever get old. All I've ever really wanted to do is make a living doing things I love to do. Thats how River Station was born. Im highly passionate about that, and want to spend all of my time and energy working hard in my life to keep that dream alive!
