"Rapid Pack" - Quick Release Waist Throw Bag
"Rapid Pack" - Quick Release Waist Throw Bag
The River Station Rapid Pack is compact, and quick at everything. We have created a new system for attaching and detaching the pack that is unique to us. The throw bag attaches to the waist belt very quickly and securely. Secure enough for repeated class 5 whitewater swims without fear of losing your pack. It detaches easily when you need it. Stuffing 60' of rope is seriously easy with the wide mouth, chalk-bag style opening. Large front mesh panel makes rope dry fast. The waist belt itself is on quick release in the event you need to ditch the whole system. This waist throw bag is for advanced, class 4/5 whitewater guides who are always on the move and who need to set safety quickly.
Since this is a new system, please watch the short instructions video below! It is recommended to inspect your gear regularly and always make sure ALL of your rope is enclosed inside the pack with the draw string fully shut whenever in use. External packs that attach directly to the belt can be more dangerous when not properly used.
- 60' of quality 1/4" rescue rope. (1400lb)
- Compact, not too bulky
- Quick release, padded waist belt.
- Large mesh panel for quick drying rope.
- Stiff mouth for easily stuffing rope.
- Quick attach and deploy system.
- Made of super strong Cordura Nylon material
Our large mesh panel allows for fast drying rope. Keep your throw bag protected from mildew and that not so pleasant river smell!
Three color styles to choose from. Our Rapid Pack hip throw bag has a new system for attaching the throw bag to the belt. We wanted to make something faster to attach than current systems available on the market. Basically, we just used a tension based method. No more weaving webbing awkwardly through contact points. It attaches fast, simple and strong. So strong that you wont have to worry about loosing a bag, even after a serious swim. Trust us, we have taken some swims with it in class 5 water. Take a look at the quick video below to see how our new throw bag system works!
INSTRUCTIONS:
*Adding rescue rope into water is dangerous. Always use caution. Tying knots and and using ropes in certain conditions can weaken the rope drastically. Frequently inspect your gear for damage or malfunction. Retire or replace worn out gear. Whitewater sports are inherently dangerous sports.
