"Rapid Pack" - Quick Release Waist Throw Bag
The River Station Rapid Pack is ultra light, compact, and quick at everything. We have created a new system for attaching and detaching the pack that is unique to us. The throw bag attaches to the waist belt very quickly and securely. It detaches easily when you need it. Stuffing 60' of rope (7mm) is seriously easy with the wide mouth and chalk-bag style opening. The large front mesh panel helps the rope dry fast. The waist belt itself is on quick release in the event you need to ditch the whole system. This waist throw bag is for advanced, class 4/5 whitewater guides who are always on the move and who need to set safety quickly.
*Adding rescue rope into water is dangerous. Always use caution. Tying knots and and using ropes in certain conditions can weaken the rope drastically. Frequently inspect your gear for damage or malfunction. Retire or replace worn out gear. Whitewater sports are inherently dangerous sports.

FAQ's
What are the rope specs?
Double braid polypro rope. Double braid weave pattern is stronger, makes the rope stuff more compact, and is softer on the hands. The breaking strength is nearly 1500lbs which is quite good for a compact rope.
Pack won't stay on belt?
Make sure you are connecting the webbing loop on the back of the throw bag around the G-hook on the belt. NOT the rope loop at the bottom of the throw bag. Make sure the belt is firmly on your waist and you cinch the yellow tab firmly. Please reach out if you need instructions since this is a new type of system unique to RSG.
What material is it made from?
The Rapid Pack waist throw bag is made from Cordura brand nylon. The strongest material on the market.
